A few words from One Accord members:
One Accord exists to grow, encourage, and serve others with an eternal perspective.
"Living 1400 miles from family, the friendships and support system we found in this group has been invaluable, especially during some very difficult trials our family has faced. Our life group lifted us in prayer, encouraged us when life became overwhelming and came alongside us in very tangible ways. Likewise, we have had the opportunity to offer similar support to others in our group, something the body of Christ is called to do.
We have appreciated the opportunity for in depth studies in various books of the Bible, as well as video and book studies on various topics. Discussions are lively, but focused, and we are always challenged to personally apply what we have learned which has helped us grow and strengthen a strong foundation in God’s Word." - Janet
"When we first started attending Spring Creek, we were a little afraid that given the size of the church, we would have a hard time making friends there. However, our participation in One Accord has helped us immensely in getting to know church members and making some very good friendships that will last forever. The social as well as the ministry events that One Accord has sponsored have been times of getting to know other class members on a more personal level.
Each year, the class has been involved in one or two ministry opportunities from local Christian organizations to larger national groups like Shoes for Jesus or Samaritan's Purse. All of these have helped me to see a different perspective and to grow in my faith and love for other people." - Mike
